How this calculator works

The calculator starts with a platform-specific base rate ($ per 1,000 followers), then applies multipliers for engagement rate, follower tier, and niche. The output is a fair-market range you can quote with confidence — low end for simple partnerships, high end for deals with exclusivity or usage rights.

Add-ons worth charging for

  • Usage rights: +50–100% if the brand can reuse your content in their own ads. Organic post rates don't cover this — always quote separately.
  • Exclusivity: +30–75% depending on duration. A 30-day exclusivity on a category (e.g., no other skincare brands) is usually 30%; a 90-day full exclusivity is 50–75%.
  • Whitelisting / dark posts: +100–200%. The brand runs paid ads through your handle — that's direct exposure to their targeting, and it's worth real money.
  • Additional deliverables: Stories typically run 40–60% of a feed post; Reels or TikToks at parity; raw content (for the brand to edit) at 60–80%.

What this calculator doesn't know

Your personal leverage. A creator who just went viral, has a strong brief-to-deliverable track record, or owns niche authority should quote the high end — sometimes above it. Conversely, a creator with flat growth, low save counts, or high bot-follower ratios should expect the low end. The calculator gives you fair-market; your specifics nudge you up or down.
